Kenyan budding artiste Millicent Jepkorir alias Mali Safi has opened up on how her unexpected viral hit has positively changed her life. Speaking today 16th February, 2024 on Citizen TV on Shajara with Lulu Hassan, Jepkorir admitted the hit song has boosted her both financially and socially.

The Kalenjin beauty who is a proud Daddy’s daughter hailing from Elgeyo Marakwet County  says she has been able to support her dad on several occasions. She notes with passion being able to buy her dad a smartphone which he had requested for. She has also been able to come through for him in terms of credit and ‘little’ money support courtesy of her trend and trending hit.

“Nimeweza kuafford kununulia babangu smartphone. Kuna mambo madogo madogo alikuwa ameomba namsaidia. Naweza mnunulia credit,”she said

Additionally, she recounts getting several shows which have built her all thanks to the Mali Safi Chito trend thus sending a special message to her fans.
