Comedian Mulamwah has taken legal action against his baby mama Carol Sonie for defamation and denying him access to see his daughter Kailah Oyando.
David Oyando popularly Mulamwah through MNO Advocates LLP has sued Sonnie for tarnishing his name on social media, denying participation in parental responsibility and access to his daughter.
Further, the comedian claims he was never included in child endorsement gigs wherein both parents should be included for the minor’s safety.

“Since the birth of the minor, you have made it difficult and almost impossible for our client to enjoy a working relationship with the minor, therefore, damaging the minor’s right to enjoy fatherly love and responsibility” Reads the statement in part.
“You have been commercializing the minor’s image for your own good with little concern for the minor’s wellbeing and our client’s right to grant consent.” The statement adds.
According to Mulamwah’s representatives, a child shall not make any commercial endorsements without both parents’ proper discussion and consent.

Besides that, Sonie has been sued over defamation. It’s reported that Sonie took to her YouTube account the parental troll and called the comedian a deadbeat father despite denying him rights to access the minor.
“Specifically, our client is troubled by statements made in your YouTube video ‘ASK ME ANYTHING RESPONSE…UWEH’ broadcast on 29th November 2023… In the video, you implied that our client is a ‘deadbeat father’ ” the statement reads.
According to the statements seen by Mideyah Digital Media, the statements surfaced after Sonie joined the TikTok challenge of truth and fact by alleging her she told her minor the father died a year ago.

I am a Toxic Baby Mama Keilah is not my kid ataendelea kumuonea online. I am a Toxic Baby Mama, Mimi ndo hupea baby daddy content. He can’t do without me.” Sonnie said in her TikTok challenge.
Mulamwah and Carrol broke up in 2021 where the comedian claimed that Carol cheated on him with another guy and went ahead to share the details on social media.
