Well, the group recently received support from the House on the Hill, through Kenya’s First Daughter Charlene Ruto who added her voice to the campaign.

Taking to her official social media pages, the vocal President’s daughter strongly condemned the many violences meted against women.

According to Charlene, the heinous acts which targeted several women are not only appaling, shocking and disturbing but also saddening.

“As a young woman, I am appalled, shocked, disturbed and saddened by the regularity of the extreme gender based violence incidents that have occurred in the recent days. The backward attitude of some members in the society towards this black and white issue is disappointing and dangerous for the future of our younger sisters, daughters, our young women and the population at large.” Charlene wrote.

She wrapped up by thanking all security apparatus, advocacy groups and other agencies which came out to vehemently shun the uprising evil.

“I appreciate our security forces, advocacy groups and citizens of goodwill for the quick reactions in spotlighting and taking proactive steps to discourage these inexcusable behaviors.

This is my stand…
It is non negotiable…
#EndFemicideKE #EndtheViolence#ForUs #ForOurFutureGenerations,” she added.
