Birmingham City Sacks Wayne Rooney After Just 3 Months in Charge
Championship side Birmingham City has decided to part ways with Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney who was appointed as their manager at the start of October in 2023.
Rooney led Birmingham City in 15 Championship matches.

When he took charge of the club as the manager, it was at 5th position in the Championship standing with 18 points where it dropped to the 20th position with just 28 points.
Rooney managed to collect only 10 points during his tenure after winning only two games, drawing four, and losing nine games after 15 matches.

The former DC United and Derby County boss saw his side handed a 3-0 defeat by Leeds United on Monday night.
Following the defeat, Birmingham City fans were heard chanting “Rooney time to go”.
