K.O Kenya, famed for hit songs such as Chora, Kasuku, and Bado denied allegations that he is gay.

Speaking during an exclusive interview with Captain Nyota TV, K.O Kenya made it clear that his nickname is ”Jimbi”(Cock), and he loves the opposite gender, therefore he can never be gay.

“I am a cock, and a cock is a male hen, that should tell you why I can never be gay. I wonder why they are just judging me by what I wore yet they don’t make the noise when it is other people? I was just being creative with my stage outfits but people have come up with all manner of accusations.” K.O Kenya said.

He went on to insist that the clothes he wore to the stage during his album launch at Moonshine Beach Bar were a publicity stunt to attract eyeballs and nothing much.

”I want to ask you all, who has been the most talked about artist from Mombasa in the past two weeks? I want to tell you that as an artist, people must talk about you and that is showbiz. So, the clothes I wore during my album launch were just one of the strategies to attract much publicity. I respect my designer’s choice and that is why I rocked the clothes. People who are saying I am gay are just confused.” he added.
