Bahati Asks Fans to Ditch Mtoto Was Diana Nickname, Suggest New One As He Turns 31

Kenyan musician Kevin Kioko, alias Bahati turned 31 on Friday, December 22.
The musician took to social media on Thursday, December 21, to warm his fans up ahead of his big day.
Bahati posted a cartoonised photo of his wife Diana Marua and himself as a baby, with the former washing him, like mums do to their little ones.

On the caption, Bahati informed his fans how excited he was as he looked forward to his birthday.
He also used the opportunity to drop hints that he does not like the nickname ‘Mtoto wa Mama’ Kenyans have been using on him.
Bahati asked his fans to drop the nickname and suggest a new one for him on the comments section of his post.
“In a few I will be Turning 31 Years Old… 22 :12 : 1992 was My Birthday!!! SO COMMENT AND GIVE ME A NEW NICK NAME AND LET’S DROP MTOTO WA DIANA 🙂” Bahati wrote.

His post attracted his wife Diana Marua’s attention and she decided to hit him below the belt with a ‘mean’ comment.
Diana wished her man a happy birthday and insisted that Bahati will always be her baby and that his milk will always be in plenty supply.
