Nonini Announces Kenyan Tour Months After Saying He’ll Never Come Back
Godfather of Genge Nebert Nakitare, alias Nonini has taken a U-turn on his plans of never returning to Kenya in the near future.
Mideyah Digital has learnt Nonini will soon be jetting into the country barely six months after ruling out his return.
Nonini is set to land in the country anytime soon for his scheduled Kenyan tour which will see him perform in Kericho on December 28, and in Mtwapa on December 31.

The rapper confirmed his Kenyan tour through an Instagram post sighted by this writer on Monday, December 18.
“The wait is over! Mgenge2ru in Kenya 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪 ratiba imetoka 28th -(Kericho) / 31st Jump Off Festival Mtwapa (Yatch Garden) and 1st January (Emara Olesereni). 🔥💯” Nonini wrote.
Nonini, while engaging one of his Kenyan fans on social media a couple of months ago, disclosed that he had no plans of returning to Kenya because of the high cost of living caused by the high Dollar exchange rate.
A random fan had taken to the comments section of Nonini’s post made on Monday, October 23, to “beg” him to return to Kenya because his fans miss him.
“Rudi home, tunakukosa Mkuu,” the fan posed.

Nonini, who seemed to be having a moment of his lifetime jokingly but affirmatively told his fan that he did not see himself coming back to Kenya because of the tough economy experienced in the country.
“Wueh, na hio exchange rate ya Dollar to Kenya. Shillings, Wuuuueh! Itakuwa tricky kiasi,” Nonini responded.
Nonini may have shut down all possibilities of returning to Kenya but his recent announcement on his comeback excited hundreds of his fans who camped in the comments section of his posts to welcome him back home.
