Zahara, South African Loliwe Hitmaker Dies At 36
South African singer Bulelwa Mkutukana best known by stage name Zahara, has passed on at the age of 36, in Johannesburg, South Africa.
It’s reported Loliwe hitmaker died on Monday evening in presence of her fiance Mpho Xaba after suffering from liver complications.
Loved by her music vocals and penchant blood moves for a guitar, some inside media outlets from South Africa allege that the late was poisoned in a family ceremony called Lobola.

The news about her demise was shared by South Africa’s Minister for Art and Culture, Zizi Kodwa, who extended his condolences to her family.
“I am very saddened by the passing of @ZaharaSA. My deepest condolences to the Mkutukana family and the South African music industry.
“Government has been with the family for some time now. Zahara and her guitar made an incredible and lasting impact in South African music,” Kodwa posted on X.
A week ago, Zahara’s family shared her health status on social media urging netizens to pray for her and also wait for updates through her social pages or from herself.

In her Music career, Zahara released five hot studio albums from double platinum debut Loliwe (2011) to Nqaba Yam (2021), which peaked at number 1 on iTunes.
Around her back, the late had won at least 17 Music Awards in her career both regional, national and continental level plus plus three Metro FM Awards and one Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
