9 Sofapaka Players Scheduled To Face Disciplinary Committee

Nine Sofapaka players are scheduled to appear before a disciplinary committee tomorrow (Tuesday) to present their reasons for boycotting training and matches for the past two weeks now.

 

The players are claiming the club has not paid their salaries leading them to boycott training sessions as well as club matches.

 

The 9 players include; Brent Omwena, Daniel Otieno, Emmanuel Otieno, Jacob Osano, Nixon Omondi, Khalid Jumaan, Oliver Maloba, Simon Munala and Stephen Okola.

 

On the letter seen by Mideyah Digital Media, the players are scheduled to face the committee tomorrow 12th December 2023 at Eastleigh High school in Nairobi.

The club charges the players on five counts which includes insubordination, incitement, negligence/sabotage, absenteeism without permission and misconduct.
