Manchester United is one of the clubs with rich history in English Premier League.

United was the first club in England to win the treble in 1998/99 season where they won Premier League, FA cup and Champions League under their legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson who spent 26 years with the club before he retired on 8th May 2013 as United manager where he won 13 Premier League titles, 2 UEFA Champions League, 5 FA Cup trophies among many other titles.

Manchester United Champions League Hopes Fading

After Erik ten Hag impressing on his first season, the 2023/24 season has not been the season all Manchester United fans hoped for with United having lost 7 Premier League games so far this season, as well as being knocked out of Carabao Cup with also being the last in the Champions’ League Group A standing.

After all that Erik ten Hag has been backed up by one former United legend Gary Neville who puts the blame of poor United results to top Management led by the Glazers.

“There’s no way they [Man Utd] should change Ten Hag this season. This idea of sacking him is an absolute nonsense. I wouldn’t be in favour of that anyway. There’s a lack of leadership and structure above him. I know people say, ‘you can’t blame the Glazers’ – yes, you can! Because it’s 10 years of failure and miserable recruitment. It comes down to the fact that they’ve not got a sporting director, a proper head of recruitment in place.” Neville said.
