Ugandan Woman Allegedly Gives Birth To Snake
Residents from Kayunga Town Council, Kayunga District came through in large numbers at one of their neighbor’s houses to look at a snake rumored to have been born by a woman in that home.
According to eyewitnesses, Agnes Nakandi, the woman who claimed to have given birth to the snake 12 years ago said the alleged snake was a twin to her other child.
After being pursued by residents, the matooke seller at Kayunga Town arrived at the scene together with her 12-year-old daughter who she claimed was the sister to the snake.

According to her; she wrapped the big python in a white clean sheet and carried it away in a car to unknown place.
Speaking to journalists on a phone interview, Nakandi acknowledged having given birth to the snake contrary to claims that she had abandoned it.
She also revealed that she had taken it to its ancestral home as a cultural belief because her husband had died before she could do so but was shocked when they carried the snake back to her house.

“When we took her out of the box, we carried her to my late husband’s home. I can’t deny or get embarrassed by my child because even when I had just given birth, they wanted to kill her but my other child and I cried so much and saved her life. My late husband’s people that dumped him in the trash are to blame,” she said.
The police led by the Kayunga Town Council OC Isa Katongole surrounded the area to witness the snake that was allegedly changing colors from black, green and yellow.

He also advised residents to desist from pulling such stunts to avoid lawlessness in the community.
Whereas Nakandi insists that she gave birth to the snake but scientists claimed there was no proven theory to confirm that a human can give birth to a snake.
