Manchester United after a devastating UEFA Champions League outing against Galatasaray in the Group A tie where they drew 3-3  throwing away 2-0 and 3-1 leads at some point in the game continue to stretch to their worst.

 

The Red Devils were out on a Premier League fixture against Newcastle United at North Tyneside where they suffered a 1-0 defeat from the Magpies setting one of the worst records against Newcastle United over a century ago.

 

Manchester United Champions League Hopes Fading

Manchester United have now lost 3 matches in a row against Eddie Howe side breaking the record set in 1922 when the red devils lost the same matches in a row.

 

They defeated Newcastle United 2-0 in Carabao Cup FINAL on 26th February which ended their 6 years of waiting without no trophy.

 

Since then, United are winless against Newcastle United where they got beaten 2-0 in the premier league 2nd leg fixture at St. James’ Park last season.

Since the start of 2023/24 season United have met Newcastle United twice with them losing all the two fixtures. In the beginning of November, United suffered a 3-0 defeat at Old Trafford against the Magpies in the Carabao cup fourth round.
