Jay Boogie Addresses Allegations Of Defrauding Nigerians

Jay Boogie, born Daniel Anthony Nsikan, a prominent Nigerian transgender personality, has addressed allegations that he defrauded Nigerians by claiming he required health support.
Jay Boogie took to social media to clarify the nature of his appeal, disputing accusations of deceiving the public by falsely claiming that he needed a kidney transplant,
“I never posted I needed a kidney transplant; I only posted I needed donations for my hospital bills,” he asserted on his social media page.
Reports suggest that Jay Boogie’s health complications stemmed from complications during a botched Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) operation.

Initial accounts indicated kidney failure and an urgent requirement for a transplant.
However, Jay Boogie insisted that, contrary to the assumptions, he never said that he had failing kidneys.
Instead, his plea was for financial support to cover extensive medical expenses.
“I never scammed Nigerians, I never lied, and I did not defraud anyone. I had sepsis and acute kidney injury, and I was on dialysis,” Jay Boogie clarified.
“It took this long for me to respond because my health was my priority, and I had to take care of myself,” he explained.
Jay Boogie disclosed that he was discharged on November 28, 2023, and is on the path to recovery.
He expressed gratitude to those who supported him during his challenging period and assured them that he did not deceive Nigerians about his health situation.
“I am still on medications, and I am also off dialysis for now, and my health is rejuvenating,” he added.
