Amber Ray Denies Breaking Up With Rapudo Over Rent Arrears

Kenyan socialite Amber Ray has firmly refuted rumours suggesting her recent split with Kennedy Rapudo was linked to rent arrears.
Contrary to speculations, she clarified that their separation resulted from personal differences, not financial issues.
Addressing the rumours, Amber Ray asserted, “The rent was never an issue. I moved out mid month, and Ken followed later. It would make no sense for him to stay alone in a 5 bedroom house. Our current apartments’ combined rent far exceeds what we used to pay in that house, so there were no arrears, and we were not evicted.”

Emphasizing that the breakup was not a clout-chasing move, she said, “Ken and I separated because of our own differences, not because we couldn’t keep up with rent. I do not engage in clout chasing, especially with such personal matters.”
Amber Ray, who unfollowed Rapudo during the breakup rumors, urged people to respect her privacy, stating, “I’m not trying to justify myself, but I wouldn’t want to tarnish my reputation with false information online. With all due respect, people should mind their own business.”

Amidst the speculations, Rapudo surprised many by posting a heartfelt birthday message to Amber Ray on social media, seemingly dispelling breakup rumors. “When the universe brought us together, it was the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Wishing you the most wonderful birthday yet. Happy birthday ‘Mama Africanah’,” he wrote during her recent birthday celebration.
