Woman Dies In Accident In Car Gifted To Her By Husband
Joy turned into tears for a businesswoman who perished in an accident with a new car gifted to her by her husband.
The deceased identified as Negesa Martha, 26 a resident of Mabuye Village and a shop owner in Nama, Mukono District died on spot in a raum, registration number UAY 558J, a gift from her husband Kawanguzi Jowaali.
According to reports, Negesa was seated in the co-driver’s seat when her driver hit a block, pushing her out of the car through the door. She is said to have sustained a big injury on her head and by the time fast responders arrived at the scene to take her to the hospital, she had already died from severe bleeding.

The ghastly accident happened close to the deceased’s home and eyewitnesses pin the accident on over speeding.
The late Negesa was a daughter to Michael Wodeji and was set to introduce her husband officially to her parents in a traditional introduction ceremony next month.

Police from Mukono arrived at the scene and took the body of the deceased to Kawolo hospital and according to Kampala Metropolitan police deputy spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigyire, they are hunting for the driver who is on the run.
