“Ni ukweli”: Anne Adhiambo, Prime Suspect In Eric Maigo’s Murder Pleads Guilty
Adhiambo confirmed she did the act three terms while saying “Ni Ukweli” as she appeared before High Court Judge Kaanyi Kimondo today to take a plea.
The charges were read to her three times in Kiswahili after the prosecution affirmed to the the court that she is an adult of sound mind.
Prior to taking the plea, she was given time to speak to her lawyers having been informed of the consequences.
“Nakupa muda zaidi ndio uweze kuongea na wakili wako ambaye yuko mahakamani mzungumze wakuelezee vizuri kile unachoambia mahakama,” the judge said.
She will now be held at Langata women’s prison as she waits to take another plea at Kibera law courts.
The case will be mentioned on November 8.
