6-Year-Old Defiled, Strangled To Death Using Her Underwear
Police in Nakaseke District are actively hunting for an unknown man who is said to have defiled a primary going pupil and strangled her to death using the knicker she was wearing.
The gruesome act happened at Kirangazi Village, Ngoma Subcounty, Nakaseke District and according to residents, the six-year-old Komugisha Happy, a pupil at Apex Model Primary School was walking home from school in the company of her friends aged between four and six.
Twineamazima Sam, the Savana Region police spokesperson revealed that the criminal first approached the toddler, asking her to accompany him to the farm where they were meant to carry firewood.

It was then that her schoolmates heard her screaming from the bush and rushed to inform Ntegeka Moses, a resident nearby who in turn informed the police. When they arrived at the scene, they noticed the victim had been defiled and strangled to death.
“As the victim, together with four other pupils, walked home, they met a stranger who convinced the young girl to go and assist him in carrying the firewood. The other children later heard Komugisha cry,” Sam said.
According to the mother of the deceased, Kemirembe Jovan, she had previously cautioned her daughter not to move alone since the only nearby school required children to cross through a bushy farm path. She always told her to move in the company of her friends.

“It is likely that the attacker targeted my daughter and possibly knew her very well… It is unfortunate that my daughter was kidnapped and killed,” she lamented.
The dead body was transported to Ngoma where the doctors carried out the postmortem. The police continue the search for the unknown criminal.
