“They Make Me Scared”: Man Who Has Avoided Women For 55 Years Discloses
A 71- year- old man has left many in shock after disclosing his fear for women.
Callite Nzamwita a Rwandan man has lived in isolation for over 55 years in his life since he was 16.
In a short feature documentary aired by Afrimax Tv from Rwanda, the old man claims to have always been scared of women and following the case, erected a 15- foot fence around his compound to avoid coming into contact with women.
” I locked myself inside here and have a fence on my house to keep women a distance. I don’t want women around me because they make me scared” Nzamwita told Afrimax.
The old man who has lived several decades without coming into sexual contact with women, further admits that abject poverty is also a reason he fears women.
Living a unique life of fearing women, whenever he sees any woman or women approaching his gate or compound, he usually closes the door backwards and vanish to his beautiful chamber.
One lady who is his neighbour, disclosed that he has known Nzamwita for a while but never comes close to a lady.
“ I have known him to stay inside the house since I was a kid. It seems impossible to see him going out because he is really scared of women” she disclosed.
Despite living a lone life and fear for women; it’s so ironic that local women provide him with essentials, tossing food and clothes into his yard from a distance.
Scientifically, it’s argued that Callite Nzamwita suffers from a rare condition called gynophobia.
It refers to the fear of women. It is a specific phobia, which is a type of anxiety disorder. A person with gynophobia may experience intense and irrational fear around women or at the thought of them.
