Home » Man Rapes, Murders 16-Year-Old Stepdaughter, Dumps Body In A Lodge

Terror filled the residents of Luweero after they discovered a teenager brutally murdered and her dead body dumped in a lodge.

The gruesome murder of the 16-year-old Fatuma Shirat Nakijwe, a student of Midland High School, Luweero was reported at Madrine Guest House and Bar located in Kizito Zone.

Residents in the area have pinned the inhumane act on Ssesanga Christopher, a lover to the deceased’s mother; Nankya Margret and according to reports, the couple fell out after irreconcilable differences, forcing Nankya to move out and leave the bar under her daughter’s management.

On the fateful evening of the murder, Ssesanga visited the deceased’s home with an intention of getting back at Nankya but he did not find her at the premises because she had gone to attend a night vigil. It was then that he brutally raped and murdered her only child.

“We believe the killer knocked on the door and the innocent child opened well knowing he was giving his stepfather an audience. It is so unfortunate that he raped and murdered her afterwards,” a neighbor revealed.

Before the murder, the suspect had allegedly threatened to harm Nankya and revenge for abandoning their relationship.

“He first wrote down a note cautioning her about a surprise she would find in her house when she gets back. He said she would never forget what his actions,” a witness revealed.

The residents blame the evil act on men who do not want to work to earn a living but instead depend on women for financial assistance.

“He approached this woman knowing she had her own money and decided to start a relationship with her. When she was tired of the relationship, he refused to walk away because she was his only source of income,” a resident said.

Savanna region police spokesperson Twineamazima Sam confirmed the murder, also revealed that investigations were underway to capture the culprit.

The body of the deceased was taken to Mulago Referral Hospital Mortuary.
