Gor Mahia defeated Nairobi City Stars 4-1 at the Kasarani Stadium, rallying from a goal down to win the 2022–2023 Football Kenya Federation Premier League title as well.

 

 

The club’s hard-fought victory, which was made possible by goals from Benson Omala, Peter Lwasa, Austin Odhiambo, and Alpha Onyango, extended its streak of league titles to 20 and solidified its position as the best in the nation.

 

 

Speaking after the win, Gor Mahia head coach McKinstry was happy after the game: “It was only last week that we seemed uncertain about our chances. I am certainly excited, and I believe it’s a feeling shared by each of our players, members of the technical bench, the management, and all our fans,” McKinstry said.

 

 

Tusker finished the season in second place despite their convincing 4-0 victory over Vihiga Bullets at Mumias Sports Complex.
