Bukayo Saka Scores His First Career Hattrick
England defeated North Macedonia 7-0 at Old Trafford to win its fourth straight Euro 2024 qualifying match, with Bukayo Saka scoring his first career hat-trick.
After 29 minutes, the scores opened as Harry Kane scored his 57th goal for his country, turning in a cross from Luke Shaw at the far post.
Nine minutes later, Saka added the second goal off a feed from Kyle Walker, and Marcus Rashford added the third goal on the final play of the half following a selfless effort by Jordan Henderson.
Saka managed a superb long pass from Trent Alexander-Arnold in the second half before launching a powerful left-foot finish. After sprinting away from Kane’s ball, Saka managed to get his historic hat-trick, and substitute Kalvin Phillips scored a tap-in to make it six.
With 17 minutes remaining, Kane scored his second goal from the penalty spot after John Stones had been fouled. England embarked on a goal-scoring spree to register their largest victory since the 10-0 triumph over San Marino in November 2021.
