Bernard Mwalala To Stay At Ulinzi Stars
After various discussions with the military authorities, Bernard Mwalala has reversed course and plans to remain with the Ulinzi Stars beyond this season.
The strategist went missing for the match against Kenya Police since his future at the club was in doubt after the team’s loss to Tusker FC in the Mozzart Cup.
After his surprise statement to the team, the club executives sprang into action, and after several weeks of negotiations, the coach has decided to stay at the club. More support from the team has been pledged to him for the upcoming season and beyond.
Mwalala is now expected to stay at the club this season and beyond.
“The coach is staying; we managed to convince him to continue, and he has agreed to continue here because he believes in this project. There are things that he has agreed on with the management that will have to be implemented for the smooth running of the team, and I think we will see a better Ulinzi Stars next season.” Said a source
