Tusker FC Striker Ibrahim Joshua Undergoes Surgery

Tusker FC Striker Ibrahim Joshua who has undergone a surgery

Ibrahim Joshua, a forward for Tusker FC, will not be able to play this season after undergoing surgery for a recurring knee issue, the team announced on Friday.

Joshua, who has been conspicuously absent from the Tusker team for the majority of this season, will essentially miss the next two games of the campaign, including the team’s Mozzart Bet Cup final matchup against Kakamega Homeboyz.

Tusker released a statement confirming the news of Joshua’s injury. “Our striker Ibrahim Joshua has started his recovery after undergoing surgery on his niggling knee injury,” Tusker FC wrote. “Keep strong, Ibra; you will cause havoc next season.” Read the statement.

Joshua had a reasonably good start at the club he joined in August 2021, scoring 11 goals in the 2021-2022 season, but he got off to a bad start in the current season after suffering a hamstring injury in Tusker’s 2-1 victory over Kakamega Homeboyz in the season opener.
