Real Madrid Unveil New Signing
Real Madrid have unveiled their new signing, Jude Bellingham, from Borussia Dortmund.
After years of speculation about his future, Bellingham will now be a Real Madrid player next season. The England midfielder will sign a new contract with Real Madrid and has been given the famous number 5 shirt won by Zinedine Zidane.
Speaking during his unveiling, Bellingham said he could not turn down the interest of Real Madrid.
“Maybe it would be an easier option to go back to England, my native country, and live there and play there in the Premier League. But it is just that I couldn’t turn down Real Madrid, really.”
It felt like the right move for me. It wasn’t because the other clubs were bad. It was just because Real Madrid was where I wanted to be.” He said.
The Spanish giants have been on the market to search for new midfielders, as Toni Kroos and Luka Modric are all aging and they need new stars in midfield.
