Kylian Mbappe Will Not Extend PSG Contract

Kylian Mbappe has reportedly told PSG that he will not extend his contract at the club.
With a one-year extension option, the France forward’s current contract expires at the conclusion of the upcoming campaign.
Mbappe, 24, had until July 31 to inform PSG if he intended to extend his contract until 2025. He has given the club a letter stating he will not after months of discussions.
The Frenchman has long been a fan of Real Madrid, but he turned down a transfer to the Bernabeu last year in order to stay at PSG. Although it had been assumed that Tottenham’s Harry Kane was at the top of their list, Real need a striker as a result of Karim Benzema’s departure for Saudi Arabia.
Mbappe, who first came to PSG on loan from Monaco before making a 180 million euro transfer, has 212 goals in 260 games. He has won five league championships in his six seasons at PSG and has ended as Ligue 1’s top scorer in each of the last five campaigns.
