Tottenham Appoint Ange Postecoglou As New Manager
Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the appointment of Ange Postecoglou as their head coach.
The Australian manager will join the London-based club on July 1 and sign a new four-year deal, as he will become the first Australian to coach in the Premier League.They have also announced that his backroom staff will be announced in due course.
Spurs have been in search of a new manager since Antonio Conte left the club towards the end of the season.They have been linked with different names, like Julian Nagelsmann and Luis Enrique, but none of them have been successful.
Speaking after completing the news, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy said they are looking forward to work with him

He has a strong track record of developing players and an understanding of the importance of the link with the academy—everything that is important to our club. We are excited to have Ange join us as we prepare for the season ahead.”He said.
