Sergio Busquets,Jordi Alba Bid Barcelona Farewell
Barcelona players Jordi Alba and Sergio Bosquets bid farewell to Camp Nou fans as they played their last game for the club.
They received cheers from the home crowd as they exited the field because they are both departing Barcelona at the end of the current campaign. Additionally, they got gifts from the club.
Speaking at the farewell, Jordi Alba said he did not expect so much love. “Today I also have to remember many people who played a very important role in my career, and it was a great honor to share the pitch with them,” he continued. “Thanks to my teammates, this year maybe I didn’t play a lot, but the most important thing is always to try to help, and of course I feel very proud of helping my teammates.” He said.
Sergio Busquets who has been one of the best midfielders of the decade also addressed the crowd
“I came here as a fan when I was a child, and now I’m very proud to be part of the best club in the world,” “Now I’m leaving this team, but the dream I had has come true… This is not a definitive goodbye, it’s a see you later. Visça Barça! Visça Catalunya!” He said.
