Pastor Ezekiel’s Brother Also Runs Church In Kisii
Pastor Ezekiel Odero’s younger brother, Gillack Odero, runs New Life Church and Prayer Centre branch in Kisii County.
The fourth-born in Odero’s family, runs the rapidly growing church based in Bonchari Constituency that has attracted followers from as far as Migori and Homa Bay counties.
Gillack, describes Pastor Ezekiel as his mentor and a spiritual father and he dons a white robe with a huge black Bible on his hands always just as the now embattled Mavueni preacher.
He however states that he started the church from scratch without help from the brother except for the blessings he received from him.
“My brother Ezekiel was very excited when I told him I was going to Kisii to start my New Life Church. He gave me the blessing and I came here to start from scratch. Everything we do is because God loves us. I do some farming and some people here and there support us online when they are touched by our preaching,” he said
He expressed no fear as he stated that God will make them victorious while addressing ‘miseries’ befalling his brother.
“I believe things will be okay.We can’t complain, God has a reason why that is happening,”he added
