Manchester United Keen On Signing Neymar Jr
Manchester United are reportedly eyeing a move for PSG forward Neymar Jr.
The 31-year-old, who moved to Paris for a record-breaking €222 million transfer from Barcelona six years ago, is rumored to be seriously considering leaving the city at the end of the current campaign.
Neymar is currently committed to a new contract that keeps him at the Stade de France through 2027, but the Ligue 1 club’s desire to prioritize Kylian Mbappe is thought to frustrate Neymar.
Behind the scenes, as reported by French magazine Le’quipe, United midfielder Casemiro is reportedly trying to push Neymar to join Manchester United next season.
PSG have had a frustrating campaign this season, and they are rumored to be willing to offload the Brazilian and are also preparing for Lionel Messi to leave the club at the end of his contract in June.
The player is up for grabs on a one-year loan, with Chelsea, Newcastle, and Manchester United all interested. They proposed that his pursuers simply pay his £606,000 weekly wage in place of a transfer fee.
