Atheists Demanding Immediate Release Of Yesu wa Tongaren
Atheists in Kenya Society led by its president Harrison Mumia is demanding for the release of self proclaimed Jesus – Eliud Wekesa.
In a statement released on 12th, Mr. Mumia say Bungoma law courts have no evidence to prove that Mr Eliud ain’t the real Jesus.
According to the statement, the biblical Jesus is a choregraphed literal character and doesn’t prove it was the real Jesus.
“We demand for the immediate release of Jesus of Tongeren. The police must produce the real Jesus if their claim is that this man is not the real Jesus Christ, Son of Yahweh!” part of the statement reads.

The statement further claim that the biblical Jesus never existed but Jesus of Tongeren exists. According to Atheists, Yesu wa Tongaren doesn’t lead a cult religion.
“Our position is that Biblical “Jesus” is a fictional character, a construct created by the religions of Christendom.
” He never existed. Jesus of Tongeren exists, and as far as we are concerned, does not lead a cult. The police are being overzealous by arresting Jesus of Tongeren” the statement reads.

Eliud Wekesa alias Yesu wa Tongaren was detained on Friday at Bungoma Police Station following a court order from Bungoma Law Courts.
Mr Wekesa was detained for four days where the police and the court are probing into his religious teachings, activities and doctrines.
Upon his arrest, law experts and Bungoma citizens are fuming demanding for release of Yesu wa Tongaren.
On Friday morning, Bungoma celebrated singer Steve Kay alias Wambumuli vowed to match in the streets of Bungoma town in case Yesu wa Tongaren is arrested.
Steve claimed Yesu wa Tongaren is a normal comedian producing his content through the gospel and calling self Yesu shouldn’t be the reason for his arrested.
