Kenyans Contribute Over Ksh 600,000 To Help Colonel Mustafa
Despite Kenyans on Twitter (KoT) being revered in trending things; KoT when it comes to charity, are not less of human beings.
After Colonel Mustafa alias Lipunda having trended on social media, Kenyans have not stopped scratching the back of the rapper.
The rapper was recorded by an unknown person working at a construction site in Utawala despite having melted people’s hearts with nice songs in mid and early 2000s.

In an interview with Mungai Eve, Mustafa opened up on how he got himself bankrupt, making him opt for hand to mouth casual jobs.
He disclosed that he has never earned something big in his music despite having made a name over a decade and his move to Mjengo, came after his mother contracted cancer.
Catering for the needs of his mother especially medication; was not an easy thing for the sickness made him spend much to save her life.
In 2022, things became more tough to the Lenga Stress hitmaker, sending him to the street to earn a living rather than coming on social media to beg for food.

However, in what he thought was a man’s silent moves that determines his end, a video of him at a construction site leaked which is now a fortune to his life.
” Kuna kijana mmoja Twitter aliandika number yangu akasema Mustafa atumiwe msaada ata kama ni twenty bob kwa number yake ya simu” Mustafa shared with Mungai Eve.
The ” kijana mmoja” who he calls; goes by name Fauz Khalid social media name The Real Mvita One.
With over 60,000 followers, Khalid mobilized Twitter users who came in to rescue Mustafa and his ailing mother.
Through his mobilization, KoT have contributed over Ksh 600,000 to Mustafa resulting to the call for a pay bill number.
“We are at Ksh 600,000. Those trying to send cash and failing should try after midnight as he has surpassed his daily limit. A paybill will be up by Monday” Khalid posted on Twitter.
Following the kind hearts KoT had, Khalid was moved by it appreciating them for the help as he narrates to them about his previous life in a financial struggling environment where people came for his rescue after the business he had went down.
