Klay Thompson Leads The Warriors In Tying Series Against Lakers

The Golden State Warriors defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 127-100 to tie the series at 1-1 in the western conference semifinals.

 

 

Klay Thompson scored a game-high 30 points for the Warriors, including eight three-pointers. Additionally, Stephen Curry had 20 points and 12 assists, while Draymond Green had 11 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists.

 

 

On the Lakers side, Lebron James scored 23 points on 10-of-18 shooting from the floor. Antony Davis struggled, scoring just 11 points on 5 of 11 shots but also pulling down seven rebounds, dishing out four assists, and blocking three shots.

 

 

Speaking after the win Klay Thompson said they needed the win.

 

“I was just trying to get the crowd going,” Thompson said. “It’s always fun when you shoot the ball well, and it’s even better when you couple that with a win.” He added.

 

 

He also added that he was eager to play in Lakers City in honor of Kobe Bryant.

 

“I’m a huge Kobe fan; obviously, he was my biggest inspiration. I’m just going to play my hardest to honestly honor him and Gigi because, without his play and all those years of me viewing his tenacity on the court, I would not be the athlete I am today.” He concluded,
