Student Found Mysteriously Dead In Pool Of Blood

Police are investigating circumstances under which a senior four student was found mysteriously dead laying in a pool of blood.
The body of Matovu Izadiini, 19, a student at Kitebi SS, was discovered by residents in his bed face down with blood coming out of his eyes, mouth and ears. The incident happened in Central Zone Kabowa, Lubaga Municipality where Matovu was lying dead in a rental house he shared with his father, Sseguya Bashir.
According to the neighbors, the news about Matovu’s demise was spread around the village by his father who claimed he was shocked when he saw him dead in the sitting room where he slept. Sseguya was pointed out by the residents as the main suspect in his son’s mysterious death.
Ssenfuma James, chairman Kabowa Central revealed that when they received the shocking news, they alerted the police to have Sseguya investigated due to the manner in which Matovu died.
Police in Katwe arrived at the scene and took the dead body for postmortem. The deceased’s father was also arrested and taken into custody where he awaits to be arraigned in court to answer for the charges of murder.
Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Onyango Patrick confirmed the tragic events and revealed that investigations into the matter were ongoing.
