Pastor Mackenzie’s Ally Arrested In Shakahola Forest As Death Toll Rise To 73
Officers, who have been conducting operation in the Shakahola forest today, Monday, have exhumed 26 more bodies.
This means that since the operation started until today, the exhumed bodies are 65 and adding the bodies of eight that were kept in the morgue before the exhumation began, the number rises to 73.
Just a few hours after the Inspector General of Police Japhet Koome arrived in the Shakahola forest to check how the operation was being conducted; a man has been arrested preaching to five people in the forest.
The man was found inside the house while preaching to five other believers who were found with him in a weakened condition.
However, the five who were found with him were taken by ambulance and rushed to the Malindi General Hospital after their health conditions were seen to be worse.
When the man was questioned by the police, he claimed that he is a pastor and his name is ‘’Zablon Wa Yesu’’.
Director of the Department of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji also visited Shakahola on a fact finding mission and to unearth the mysterious Cult by ‘’Pastor’’ Mackenzie.
