Bomet Headteacher On The Run For Allegedly Defiling Grade Six Pupil

Kiricha Primary School headteacher  has now for the past three days not been reporting to duty after claims of defiling a 13-year-old grade six pupil last week emerged.

Addressing the press, Sotik Sub-County police boss Francis Ng’ang’a stated that the teacher lured the pupil into his office at 5pm while other students were playing outside.

He further said that his Officers have since then been  looking for him to record a statement but all has sunk in futility.

The Police boss however asked the teacher to come out of the hideout and continue with his duties as long as he feels not guilty of the act.

“If he is innocent, he should come out and perform his duties as usual. We are working with education officials in the sub-county to help us trace his whereabouts,”said Ng’ang’a

The parents on Wednesday were advised to have their kids stay at home as a solution was being hatched, this is after they had threatened to remove their children from the school should the headteacher is allowed back.
