Landlord Behind Bars For Defiling Tenant’s Daughter

Police in Kampala confirmed the arrest of a landlord accused of luring and defiling his tenant’s four year old daughter.
According to Uganda Police spokesperson, SCP Fred Enanga, the victim is a resident of Lufuka Zone, Makindye – Ssabagabo Division in Kampala City. Facts gathered indicate that the crime was committed on 1st April by Kigozi Fred, the owner of the houses where the victim’s parents stay.
It was reported by the toddler to her mother and using gestures, the victim whose identity has been concealed tried to describe whatever had happened, also revealed the name of the predator that was behind the gruesome act.
“Upon examining the victim, it was established that she had been sexually molested and the matter referred to the police,” Enanga revealed during a weekly presser in Naguru.
Kigozi is currently under detention and will be charged with aggravated defilement. Being a capital offense, the crime carries a maximum sentence of death.
