Form One Student Faints And Dies
It was a moment of shock for students and staff of Bishop Abiero Girls Secondary School in Kisumu county, Seme sub-county following the death of a form one student.
Beryl Awuor ,14, fainted in class and was rushed to the nearest medical facility before being transferred to Kombewa sub-county hospital for treatment where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
“She was well until the last lesson. She reportedly fell unwell and was assisted by the students and the principal. When the school was catching up with her condition, she was rushed to the nearest medical facility which is our Sub-County hospital. Our medical facility referred the girl to the nearest County hospital which is in Kombewa County. When she arrived at Kombewa they were trying to check on her but unfortunately they pronounced her having lost her life,” a source reported to NTV
The girl had promised her dad that she would perform well.
“I last talked to her when she was back for half term. She is always very jovial and I never treated her as a daughter but as my sister. We always joked and I told her, ‘You went to play games and you can see the kind of work that I am doing
“She told me she had eye problems promising to come back with better grades. That was the last word with my daughter,” her father said disclosed.
