Scraping is an automated extraction of information both targeted and at scale, for any unpermitted purposes.
Acquiring information in this way include phone number, user profile picture and statuses violates WhatsApp terms of service.
Many are falling victims for violating WhatsApp terms and conditions and getting themselves barred from using the social media platform permanently or temporarily.
Mostly, persons plotting to harm, attack and sharing sensitive investigative information using unofficial WhatsApp; are being left in shock before the talk accomplished.
However, Fact Checkers informs that whenever one falls victim of being banned from WhatsApp, is encouraged to contact the help center for help where they will then be directed to use the normal WhatsApp model.
A high percentage of social media users are using unofficial WhatsApp models for communication and entertainment especially sharing of memes.
In the higher percentage, many are addicted to WhatsApp and cannot stay for a half an hour without being online.
