Pupil Goes Missing From School After Beating Up A Friend

Nakawooya Faridah disappeared after a fight with fellow pupil

School authorities are actively looking for one of their pupils who ran away from school following a huge fight with a fellow pupil.

Nakawooya Faridah is a primary seven pupil at Al Soud Junior School in Matugga and according to her teachers; she had a disagreement which led to a huge fight with a fellow pupil. She is said to have badly beaten up the anonymous student to the point that she was rushed to hospital by teachers.

Upon their return, they discovered that Nakawooya had disappeared in fear of being punished. The search for her around the school premises gave no results and it is at this point that the school calls upon anyone with information on the missing child to come forward.

“Nakawooya, wherever you are, if you are listening to me or anyone who has spotted her, we want to let you know that we are very sad. Your teachers, parents plus the entire school are distraught. Please come back,” Ssemamba Muzafar, the Deputy Head teacher, begged.

Kampala Metropolitan Police deputy Spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigire confirmed Nakawooya’s disappearance and encouraged members of the public with any information that can lead to her being found to alert the police.
