In a trending post on Facebook, Kenyans on Facebook have gone crazy by waging comic bombshells on Gilbert’s betrayal where the economy is too high.
” Hello Safaricom, Kuna watu hununua bundles via Facebook ndio waepe kulipa okoa.
” Sijui kama mumegundua io trick. Sitaki mpate hasara on delayed debt payment. Thank you very important” Gilbert disclosed to Safaricom telecommunications.
The telecommunications on the other hand has responded to Gilbert by appreciating him for the information as one commoner request the firm to give him some token of appreciation.
“Hello Gilbert, we appreciate for the heads up. This has been shared with the relevant team for further checks” Safaricom responded.
This comes two days ahead after the Communications Authority of Kenya gave information for the closure of one, Telkom Kenya over losses and tax levy hurdle.
In January, a Canadian investor announced the introduction of Iristel Kenya as the first foreign telecommunications company in African continent.
Before the announcement, the Canadian investor had fought a legal battle in court with Safaricom where Safaricom claimed Iristel’s entrance in Kenya will attribute to lines/sim massive swap.
Currently, Safaricom is the Kenya’s biggest telecommunications company with a huge number of users where recently, it launched its branch in Ethiopia.
