Scene As Looters Return Commodities At Muindi Mweusi Supermarket

There was shock at Muindi Mweusi supermarket in Embakasi as individuals made a comeback with items said to have been looted during the Monday anti-government protests.

As earlier reported by their operations manager Peter Maguli, they had lost goods worth 15Million as rogue protesters made their way into the premises.

“We lost goods and property estimated at KSh 15 million. These include assorted goods, TV sets, gas cylinders and mattresses,” Maguli revealed.

The protesters are said to have broken the main entrance before finding their way in and eloping with different commodities of choice.

However, whatever the magic applied by the store owner, the looters themselves streamed into the store with the items as police officers present directed them on where to return them.

Some could be seen carrying gas cylinders as they walked towards the store.
