6 Youths In Viral Gay Porn Video Arrested
Police in Jinja City have put behind bars six young men who were participating in a viral gay video. In the video that has been shared massively on social media platforms like WhatsApp, the youths are seen taking part in sordid acts while being recorded on camera.
This prompted the police to open an open file where members of the public were called upon to report with information that would help identify the suspects in the video. This led to the arrest of youths whose names are being withheld and they are currently detained at Jinja Police Station.
Speaking to a local journalist, one of the culprits revealed that the leaked videos were shot by middlemen who would then sell them to undisclosed porn sites. They were allegedly paid between Ush500,000 to Ush5 million for each video.
With this paycheck, they were able to convince other youths some of whom he says have reformed over the years. According to the source, the videos are released to the public by the porn site owners as a threat and means of blackmail to get them to shoot more videos against their will
According to Kiira police spokesman James Mubi, the youths are facing two counts of gross indecency and procuring gross indecency. An active investigation is still ongoing to help track down the rackets before they engage other people.
