Kenyan international Michael Olunga produced a second-half brace for Al Duhail to knock out Al Shabab 2-1 on Thursday to book a slot in the semi-finals of AFC Champions League
Qatari’s Al Duhail win prevented an all-Saudi clash in the last four of the Asia Champions League on Thursday.
Al Duhail will now meet Defending champion Al Hilal on Sunday to decide the top team in West Asia after the holders and title-favourites from Saudi Arabia edged out Iran’s Foolad Khuzestan 1-0 in another quarter-final match.
The Harambee Stars Captain Olunga was the Hero for Herman Crespo side with his two clinical finishes against Al Shabab.
Prior to the match, Al shabab had a remarkably six clean slates in the tournament leading up to their latest match.
Olunga Scored two quick goals in the 75th and 86th minute after a massive defence errors form the Saudi giants.
