Mike Tyson Sued For Allegedly Raping A Woman
A woman has filed a lawsuit at Albany, New York, to sue former boxing star for raping her.
In the filed lawsuit, the woman says Mike Tyson raped her in his Limousine after she met him at Albany nightclub.
She claims she has suffered physical injury and mental stress since the rape early 1990s.
Due to the mental stress and physical injury, the woman through her lawyer says, she’s suing Mike Tyson for a punch, $5 million.
According to the affidavit, the woman however does not show when the defilement occurred but traces the scene to be early 1990s when Tyson was jailed for three years for raping a beautician Desiree Washington in Indianapolis.
The woman who doesn’t want to disclose her identity due to fear of exposure to cyber bullying, emotional damage and physical harassment, says she got into Tyson’s Limousine and the boxer started touching her and trying to kiss her.
“I told him no several times and asked him to stop, but he continued to attack me. He then pulled my pants off and violently raped me” the woman says.
The woman’s lawyer Darren Seilback, however says, before filing the affidavit, he investigated into the matter and found the case credible for the woman to get justice.
Moreover, the law expert hasn’t commended further on the lawsuit filed concerning the client.
Mike Tyson on the other hand, a message has been sent to him through his agent concerning the allegations but yet to reply.
The boxer has been having a rough life since his exit from boxing ground as many cases in line with physical violence surrounds his life.
The New York, Adult Survivors Act, gives sexual assault victim a one- year allowance to file a lawsuit that happened a year ago and even, decades back.
