Kisii Shines In KCSE 2022
For a long time Kisii has been known for most of the negative news in the country. However, the release of KCSE 2022 has brought Kisii to the limelight with some positive side.
Despite the decision by the Ministry of Education of not naming top students or ranking schools, a review of the results showed that some national schools faced stiff competition from county schools as Kisii Schools shone.
Out of the 1146 straight As, 946 are from schools in Kisii.
Some of Kisii schools that have performed well include;
Nyambaria High School in Nyamira County registering a mean score of 10.9. 28 candidates from the centre scored the coveted grade A while 383 of them scored an A- as the lowest candidate scored a B plain.
Another school is Cardinal Otunga High School in Kisii County which got a mean score of 10.76. 28 candidates from the institution got a mean grade of A plain while 201 scored an A minus, 97 got a B+ , 3 got a B Plain as 1 recorded a B-.
