Earlier today, rumours filled the air stating that Kamene Goro was set to quit Radio Africa’s Group Kiss FM breakfast show. Her replacement and next move however remained unclear.Shortly, Radio Africa Group finally confirmed the news after unveiling her replacement.
Sheila Kwamboka alias Kwambox who formerly graced the airwaves hosting Vybez in the morning show at Standard’s Vybez Radio will replace the Celebrated Kamene Goro.
According to the Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Martin Khafafa, Kwamboka is a great addition to the team following her over 20 years of experience in the media industry.
“Her addition will give listeners a chance to enjoy bigger, better and more engaging radio content,” he said.
Speaking exclusively to Billy o’clocks entertainment editor and taking the big announcement to her social media pages, Kwamboka confirmed the news and said she is ready for her next assignment promising to give her all.
‘I’m getting ready to start my next assignment! I am grateful for the journey this far.This next step, I wanna just give it my all,’ she wrote.
Kwamboka is said to have resigned from Vybez Radio before landing this lucrative offer.
The Radio Africa Group based in Westlands Nairobi shelters Classic 105, Kiss 100, Radio Jambo, Homeboyz Radio, Gukena and East FM.
