City fashion designer Bolo Bespoke and his wife Mueni have told off Nyako for criticising Prince Indah’s traditional wedding outfit.
Speaking to Ankali Ray, the city designer couple said they had been in the fashion industry for a decade, and they know what they do while at work.
Bolo and Mueni said they can’t argue with Nyako, who is not in the fashion industry, and they don’t have time to respond to her.

“Nimefanya hii kazi kwa miaka kumi na ndo nijiite the bigest and best fashion designer in Africa, mimi si mtu mjinga. ..hatu-expect watu wote waelewe. It will take them more time to understand.
“Mtu kama Nyako kama aliniongelea, it’s well and fine, and at the end of the day, ni social media, everybody is trying to gain views, everybody is trying to be relevant, but at the end of the day, kazi yetu ni kufanya kazi yenye tumepewa na client,” Bolo said.
“Huwezi kuambia nyani asali ni tamu kushinda ndizi. Hii kazi ya designing ya kushona nguo tumefanya kwa mingi. Sina muda wa kubishana na mtu ambaye hajui fashion,” Mueni added.

Nyako had claimed Bolo Bespoke made an unimpressive wedding outfit for Prince Indah and his wife Winnie NyaMigori. She said the Ohangla artiste could have bought nice outfits from Nigeria rather than buying from the city fashion designer.
“Mwenye alishona hivyo vitu should be fired immediately. Prince Indah could have gone to Nigeria and bought the clothes and beads there. Sasa Bolo ameshona mpaka msalaba eti beads. I nearly thought Prince Indah was a Catholic Church preacher.” Nyako said.
