Kinuthia Reveals His Family Never Wanted Him Shoot Content As A Crossdresser

Crossdresser Kelvin Kinuthia has revealed that his family never wanted him to shoot digital content. In a chit chat with Boina, he said the family feared social media criticisms.
Kinuthia revealed that his mother used to get hurt every moment she could read the comments that online users had commented on his posts.
The crossdresser said it reached a point when his family organised a meeting and advised him to stop shooting content when dressed in women’s attire.

“Nikianza, my mum was skeptical about it because pia yeye alikuwa akiingia kuangalia comments, anashangaa na namna watu walikuwa wakimtukana mtoto wake hadi we had a family meeting, na nikaambiwa I should quit TikTok because the hate was too much, mbona watu wanichukie hivyo from nowhere.” Kinuthia shared.
However, he advised them to leave him and continue with the content since critics weren’t attacking them but him and he never felt intimidated.
“Nilikaa chini nikawauliza, halafu nikitoka tuwafurahishe? Mbona wafurahi na kufeel wame-win wakati sisi ndio tunafaa ku-win not them? Then it’s all about me not about you. The comments they have is theirs not mine. Na nikawaambia, I’m not leaving anything and I’m continuing.” He added.

Additionally, he said, despite his family’s insecurities and failed pieces of advice, currently, his mother and sister are proud of him and support him in his content creation career.
He also admitted that online criticisms don’t scare him and he’s comfortable with people referring to him as either a she or a he, but he’ll never stop wearing feminine attire since it’s his brand.
