Charlene Ruto Sets Record Straight About LGBTQ Rumours

Charlene Chelagat Ruto, President William Ruto’s daughter has dismissed reports alleging she’s a member of the LGBTQ+ community.

In a quickfire session with Shiku Gitau, the president’s daughter revealed that the weirdest rumour she had ever heard about herself was that she was a lesbian.

Charlene explained that the rumours were not true. She added that she would get married to a Kenyan man and not any man who is not a Kenyan.

“The weirdest rumour I’ve ever heard about myself is that I’m a lesbian. That’s totally not true. It was so weird.” Charlene said as she revealed the originality of the man she would get married to, adding that her celebrity crushie is an American artiste.

“My celebrate crushie is not an African but he’s from the US and his name is Jonathan Markrenoz. Though, most definitely, I would marry a Kenyan.” She stated.

The first daughter also revealed that she almost shed tears after she received roses on Valentine’s Day from young citizens as she walked around the city.

“I almost cried today because the young children I was meeting were giving me flowers.” She revealed, adding that her debut into the social media limelight happened when she started working with the young generation. “The highlight of my career was the day I started working with young people.”

However, the first daughter also shared that her first mentor is her father President Ruto and the late Greenbelt Movement Award winner Wangari Maathai.
