Grandpa Records Owner: The Girl I Wanted Rejected Me For Being Broke
Grandpa Records founder, Noah Yusuf alias Refigah Heavyweight revealed that a girl he eyed to make a girlfriend rejected him for being broke.
Speaking to Billy Miya on Radio 47, the legendary music producer said the rejection incident happened when he was in his early 20s but he took the rejection positive.
Grandpa Records owner explained that he loved the girl with his whole heart and that despite the help of a friend to win her heart, things never ended as he expected.

“Nikiwa na miaka 21- zone ya kuparara na kujitafutia kwa kubahatisha, nilikutana na msichana mrembo kupitia kwa rafiki yangu na nikamwambia rafiki anisaidie kumpata.
“Sasa tulipokutana, rafiki yangu alikuwa ashamwambia , nami nikafungua roho na kumwambia kuwa nilikuwa nishaanza kupanga future kabla tukutane. Sasa naye, akanijibu diplomatically.
“Aliniambia; I love your height, you’re handsome and genuinely, I like your voice but kwa ukweli mimi na wewe hakuna mahali tunapelekana kwa sababu huna chochote na pia mimi nimetoka maisha ya chini na ninataka mtu atanibadilishia maisha. Mimi na wewe tutapotezeana wakati.” Grandpa Records owner narrated.

However, he added that the rejection motivated him to work hard in life until he made it. He also disclosed that he later met her after years in which her life depicted a sense of struggle, and helped her get a decent job.
“Baadaye tulipokutana, maisha yake hayakuwa mazuri. Alionekana mtu ametaabika kiasi lakini binafsi nilikuwa afadhali upande wa hela na nikamsaidia kupata kazi bora.” He added.
